Spares Sales Representative

SUMMARY:
One of our clients based in Lydenburg is seeking a Spares Sales Representative.

POSITION INFO:
Main Responsibilities

• Maintain the existing customer base and to bring in new business from the allocated territory
• Customer maintenance is to be done on a call cycle, which is anything between two to four weeks and the actual cycle will be decided upon between the Spare Salesperson and the Branch manager and will be listed as and work closely with the Field Service Technician and Technical Service personnel to ensure that all customers are serviced

• Matric/Grade 12
• 5+ years of sales
• Driver’s License
• Strong sales ability
• Product knowledge, mine machinery
• Market and Competitor knowledge

• Ability to identify and capitalize on opportunity
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel as required
• Fluent in English (Written and Verbal)
• Ability to work under pressure
• Self-Motivated
• Time Management Skill
