SUMMARY:
Luxury Spa at a Boutique Hotel based in Ballito is looking for an experienced Spa & Wellness Manager.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Lead and manage all spa & wellness operations across the hotel to ensure exceptional guest experience
Design and deliver innovation spa & wellness experiences
Manager departmental budgets, financial performances and monthly reporting
Develop annual spa & wellness budget and commercial plans with the General Manager
Partner with Sales & Marketing to promote spa & wellness experiences and identify new business opportunities
Oversee procurement, stock control, inventory and cost management.
Build strong relationships with guests and resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
Conduct regular operational inspections to maintain exceptional spa & wellness standards
Lead, coach, mentor and develop the wellness team through ongoing training and performance management.
Monitor spa & wellness performance through key operational and financial metrics
Build close working relationships with key departments to ensure seamless coordination and an exceptional end-to-end guest experience across the hotel.
Develop an annual training plan with the spa & wellness team leader and ensure that all employees are trained and developed to meet the needs of the business

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Spa Management, Hospitality Management, Wellness Management, or a related field (Aesthetician qualification advantageous)
Minimum 3 years’ management experience within a luxury 4/5* spa / wellness environment
Proven experience managing wellness operations, budgets, training, and inventory
Strong financial, sales, marketing and guest relations experience
Experience working with Wellness POS systems
Excellent leadership, coaching and people management skills
Managing colleague performance issues quickly and effectively
Embody wellness excellence, demonstrating professionalism, presence, and behaviours that reflect a calm, balanced, and guest-centred environment.
Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring ability
Exceptional guest service and relationship management skills
Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness
Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
High level of integrity, professionalism and accountability
Passion for wellness and continuous professional development
