Solutions Support and Maintenance Officer (Freight Forwarding Solutions) (Transport and Logistics)

Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng

Position Overview:

A well-established international transport and logistics firm is seeking to appoint an experienced Solutions Support and Maintenance Officer - Freight Forwarding Solutions.

One will be responsible for the support of new and existing software within the production environment. The Solutions Support and Maintenance Officer will also be tasked with resolving user queries at an application level by investigating, problem solving and troubleshooting application errors.

One will provide application configuration and maintenance by becoming an expert on all aspects of the systems. The selected candidate is also required to assist with problem management in identifying and proposing application system changes, while providing the highest level of customer service and maintaining agreed service levels.

Essential Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required

Minimum Requirements:

SQL Database, Applications / Systems Support, Cargo Wise, and Freight Forwarding.
Proven working experience in Software Support.
Basic IT Knowledge (A+ / N+) preferred.
MS Office - Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Cargo Wise and SQL experience essential.
Experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics and Transport Management required.
Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tickets.
Willingness to travel.
