POSITION INFO:
About the Role:

As a Solar Project Manager, you will take ownership of residential, commercial, or industrial solar PV projects from initial client consultation through to final commissioning. You’ll be responsible for solution design, planning, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full lifecycle of solar PV projects, from design and procurement to installation and commissioning
• Conduct site assessments and develop tailored solar solutions
• Coordinate internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to meet project timelines and standards
• Ensure compliance with electrical regulations and industry best practices
• Provide technical and project updates to clients and stakeholders
• Maintain project documentation and reports
• Travel to sites as required (own transport essential)

• Proven experience in the solar PV industry (essential)
• Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., licensed electrician, CEC accreditation preferred)
• Project management experience in a technical or construction environment
• Strong background in solar system design and solution development
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to a dynamic work environment

• Familiarity with solar design software (e.g., PVSyst, Helioscope)
• Knowledge of battery storage systems and hybrid solutions
• Health and Safety certification (e.g., White Card, First Aid)
