Software Tester (Manual & Automation) | Centurion | Fully In-Office

Our client is looking for a Software Tester (Manual & Automation) to join their dynamic and growing technology environment based in Centurion.

POSITION INFO:

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software solutions. You will be responsible for both manual and automated testing, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a skilled team and contribute to innovative projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform manual testing to ensure functionality, usability, and performance standards are met
Develop, maintain, and execute test cases and test plans
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts
Create and maintain detailed test documentation and reports
Identify, log, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution
Implement and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
Conduct performance, load, and stress testing
Participate in code reviews and contribute to quality improvements
Recommend process improvements to enhance testing efficiency
Stay up to date with testing tools, trends, and best practices

Key Requirements:

Degree in Information Technology or a related field
3–5 years’ experience in software testing (manual and automation)
Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices
Experience with tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, or TestNG
Familiarity with version control and bug tracking systems
Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
High attention to detail and quality
