POSITION INFO:

A rapidly expanding distribution group is looking for a commercially driven and highly creative Social Media Manager to join their growing marketing team. This is not a basic “content posting” role.

Our client is looking for someone who understands how social media directly impacts:

• brand growth,
• customer engagement,
• lead generation,
• and revenue performance.

The successful candidate must be capable of managing multiple brands across various platforms while driving engagement, audience growth, and conversion-focused campaigns within a fast-paced commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement social media strategies across multiple brands
• Plan, create, schedule, and manage engaging content across all major platforms
• Manage social media campaigns from concept through execution and reporting
• Drive audience growth, engagement, and brand visibility
• Monitor analytics, performance metrics, and campaign reporting
• Community management and audience engagement
• Coordinate influencer collaborations and partnership campaigns
• Assist with paid media coordination and campaign optimisation
• Ensure brand consistency across all digital platforms
• Monitor trends, competitor activity, and emerging digital opportunities

Brand Exposure Includes

• B2B HoReCa brands
• B2C eCommerce brands
• Liquor and beverage brands
• Premium imported FMCG brands
• Conversion-driven digital campaigns

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or related field
• 2–5 years’ relevant social media and digital marketing experience
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and content strategy
• Experience managing multiple brands and campaigns simultaneously
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of conversion-focused marketing
• Excellent copywriting and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Advantageous

• Experience within FMCG, retail, hospitality, beverage, or eCommerce environments
• Exposure to paid social campaigns and performance marketing
• Experience working with influencers and brand collaborations
• Basic design or video editing capability
