Social Media Designer

SUMMARY:

A leader in the FMCG industry, is looking for a talented and creative, Social Media Digital Designer. That specializes in social media/digital, creating designs for the unique needs for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. This position will be contributing insights and ideas to help drive creative quality standards, reflecting creative best practices in social media, video, and brand marketing.

• Strong understanding of best social media practices.
• Solid knowledge of marketing competencies.
• Creativity and proven experience
• A strong portfolio of previous work.
• A good eye for aesthetics and details.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
• Good time-management skills.
• Be able to produce original ideas.
• Photography, video and editing skills a big plus.

• Study design briefs and determine requirements.
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.
• Produce content to be posted on Facebook, TikTok and Instagram mainly, but for websites and marketing.
• Creating posts to attract customers on social media.
• Follow a CI but bring own creativity to each design.
• Ensure consistency of brand elements.
• Amend designs after feedback.
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
