Site Accountant

SPH KUNDALILA (Pty) Ltd is seeking a qualified person to fill the position of Site Accountant based at our Aggeneys (Aroams) site. The applicant should meet the following requirements:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Qualified Accountant (BCom degree)
• Minimum of 3 years’ related work experience
• Advanced Excel, Power BI an advantage, financial modelling and dashboards.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies and inefficiencies.
    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
    • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and data analysis.
    • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
    • Medically fit as per MHSA/OHSA.
    • No criminal Record.
    • Valid Driver’s License and own Transport.

Advantageous:

• Acumatica ERP system experience.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Interpersonal Relationships: Maintaining effective communication and good relations with Management, Staff, and Client Representatives.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records (journals, ledgers, trial balances).
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in budget preparation, cost tracking, and variance analysis.
• Monitor and report on operational costs, especially production-related expenses.
• Administration: Administration of debtors. Communication via fax, e-mails, letters, memo’s, etc.
  • Health and Safety: Maintaining a level of responsibility and duty of care towards your own health and safety and that of your colleagues at work and to be aware of any risks and dangers and where appropriate inform your
  • superior or take action on your own initiative to reduce that risk. Always work to the safe working practice detailed in the Company Health and Safety Policy.
