Side Tipper Controller

Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate the dispatch of side tipper trucks as per the transportation requirements.

• Monitor the loading and unloading of goods to ensure they are handled correctly and efficiently.

• Maintain constant communication with drivers to ensure timely delivery and address any issues on the road.

• Ensure compliance with all safety and traffic laws.

• Track and analyze the performance of the side tippers, providing reports on metrics such as fuel consumption, delivery times, and vehicle maintenance.

• Implement and monitor a preventative maintenance schedule for all side tipper trucks.

• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure all vehicles are in excellent working condition.

• Handle any logistical issues that arise, applying quick problem-solving skills to minimize delays.

• Train new drivers on operational procedures and safety practices.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Side Tipper Controller or similar role in the logistics or transportation industry.

• A background in logistics, transportation, or a related field.

• Valid driver’s license; commercial driving experience is a plus.

• Relevant certifications in logistics or fleet management are highly advantageous
