POSITION INFO:
The Production Department requires a committed, hardworking and trustworthy individual to join
the team as a Shunter Driver. The successful candidate will report directly to the Branch Manager.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Production Department requires a Shunter Driver who will be responsible for driving a Roro /
Shunting vehicle (Kalmar).
RESPONSIBILITIES (NOT LIMITED TO THE BELOW):
- Day to day inspection of the vehicle and to report all faults.
- Responsible for the vehicle.
- Loading and off-loading various materials and equipment
- Ensure adherence to the Road Traffic Act
- Ensure the safety of other road users
- Abide by the regulations as set out in Occupational Health and Safety Act, company policies
and the regulations of the road.
QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum Grade 12 certificate
- Valid, unendorsed Code 14 license
- 3 years driving experience
- Hands on and practical approach to the job
QUALIFYING ATTRIBUTES:

- Excellent state of health
- Prepared to work overtime and weekends when needed.
