Showroom Consultant - Paarl

SUMMARY:
Brand-new showroom in Paarl has an exciting positions available for a Showroom Consultant.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To promote and sell merchandise, sample books and partnership programmes to customers and to maintain the image and oversee the effective operations of the showroom in order to meet sales targets.

POSITION INFO:
MAIN DUTIES:
Maintain showroom operations by maintaining the set showroom standards, coordinating deliveries, manage stock of cuttings, sample hangers and books, coordinate events etc.
Build productive relationships with customers by advising and selling to customers in the showroom and handling internal and external complaints and queries
Support field sales by supporting the internal sales consultants

REQUIREMENTS:
National Senior Certificate
Certificate or Diploma in Interior Design/Decor or related field advantageous
At least 3 years sales experience in a similar role within the same or related industry
At least 3 years retail experience
Exposure to an interior design environment
Experience of coordinating the operational aspects of a shop or outlet is an advantage
Own reliable transport

Skills and Knowledge required:
Good telephone etiquette
Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
Good presentation skills
Good with building and maintaining customer relationships
Excellent customer service and after sales service
Good with selling products and concepts
Well-presented and professional with good business etiquette
