Salary: R10,000.00 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Shop Assistant to support daily retail operations in our Krugersdorp store. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, assist with merchandising, process transactions, and support stock control activities. A valid driver’s licence is required to assist with occasional deliveries, collections, and other operational duties.

Key Responsibilities

Assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system
Replenish shelves and maintain attractive product displays
Receive, unpack, and organise stock deliveries
Monitor stock levels and report shortages
Keep the store clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards
Handle customer queries and resolve complaints efficiently
Assist with opening and closing procedures
Conduct local deliveries or collections when required
Support the team with general retail and operational duties

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric certificate
Valid South African driver’s licence
Previous retail or shop assistant experience preferred
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic numerical and cash-handling ability
Honest, dependable, and punctual
Ability to work retail hours, including weekends if required
