Shift Manager

SUMMARY:
Animal feed Production Foreman position available with large market leader.
The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing production processes, managing plant staff, and ensuring that feed production meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

POSITION INFO:
Tertiary Qualification essential at least 5 years experience in similar environment.
Ability to work on a rotating shift system, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Oversee the production of animal feed at the feed mill, ensuring efficiency and quality control.
Managing production schedules, ensuring quality control standards are met, and optimizing efficiency in the manufacturing process. 
Managing inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers, and implementing safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Conduct regular quality control checks on feed ingredients & final product
Manufacture feed according to formulas & quality standards
Ensure staff follow procedures & maintain production discipline
Troubleshoot production issues & equipment malfunctions quickly
Minimise downtime through proactive problem‑solving
Maintain accurate records & support smooth daily operations
