Settlement Risk Reconciliation Investigator Administrator

The successful incumbent will be responsible for monitoring all allocated cash processing, and the completion of all ad hoc daily tasks. Secure this position today

POSITION INFO:

The Ideal Candidate

• Must have a minimum of +- 4 years Settlement Risk Reconciliation Investigator Administrator experience.
• Must come from a financial services sector.
• Advantageous if you come from a Cash Management background.
• Must have stable work experience.

Duties include:

• Check all bag transactions.
• Check that bags flagged correctly for settlement.
• Import of bank statements.
• Ensure that the imported bank statement movement balances to actual bank statements.
• Allocate statement items to bags.
• Check that payments are correctly linked and balances to the settlement authorized.
• Check that Deposits are correctly linked and balances to the settlement authorized.
• Check that counted value balances to the bag closure
• Identify, validate, and resolve exceptions (including investigation where necessary)
• Customer interaction – Both internal and external
• Evaluate device decoding for further investigation.
• Cash Centre Visits - Viewing of video footage and bags at Cash Centre for Investigation completion
• Client Visits -Viewing video footage and client recons at Client site for Investigation completion.
• Reporting (Final Investigation Reports, Incident Reports)

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification – Matric and any qualification in finance.
