SUMMARY:

An established technical services company is looking for a Service Technician – Gas Measurement to support the servicing, maintenance, and commissioning of gas measurement equipment at clients' sites. This role is ideal for a technically capable individual who is comfortable working independently in the field and delivering reliable, safety-focused solutions.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Perform installation, servicing, commissioning, and maintenance of gas measurement and process instrumentation equipment
Conduct calibration and verification activities in line with metrology standards and regulatory requirements
Diagnose and resolve equipment faults efficiently to minimise downtime
Complete service reports, calibration certificates, and technical documentation accurately
Utilise SAP and Service 4.0 platforms for job management, reporting, and service tracking
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality procedures at all customer sites
Deliver professional technical support and represent the company positively in the field

Minimum Requirements:

National Diploma in Industrial Instrumentation OR National Diploma, plus a Trade Certificate as an Industrial Instrumentation Mechanician
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in process measurement or industrial instrumentation
Proven experience working in a service-based environment
Strong background in calibration and metrology
Product centre basic training modules – gas measurement completed
Experience working with SAP and Service 4.0 platforms
Valid driver’s licence
Valid passport

Willingness to travel locally and internationally when required
