POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Manage service campaigns and ensure successful execution
Supervise and lead technician staff to maintain high performance standards
Plan and schedule workshop and field service jobs efficiently
Maintain strong client relationships and handle all service-related communication
Oversee and manage the workshop vehicle fleet
Ensure compliance with SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) standards within the workshop
Manage and monitor warranty processes in line with company policies
Provide technical support and assist with resolving complex queries
Coordinate and manage contractors and vendors for the service department
Monitor and control Work-in-Progress (WIP) to ensure operational efficiency
Assist with workshop debtor queries and administrative follow-ups

Minimum Requirements

Qualified Earthmoving Mechanic
Red seal Qualification
Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar role
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven leadership, planning, and people management abilities
Sound knowledge of:
- Warranty policies and procedures
- Disciplinary procedures
- Safety and environmental regulations
- Technical and operational requirements
- Industrial relations and HR procedures
- Administrative processes
- SAP system
Computer literate
