SUMMARY:
Responsible for the review of client tax calculations, coordination tax reports, assist with setting

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Opportunity has opened up in a wealth management team for a Senior Tax Accountant. Responsible for the review of client tax calculations, coordination tax reports, assist with setting VAT policy on commissions and fees etc.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for reviewing client income tax on switches or surrenders
Provide guidance to business around tax interpretations
Champion automation of tax processes
Keep abreast of tax practices and legislation
Ensuring compliance with regulations
Advising on tax aspects of transactions
Assist with implementation of tax systems planning

Requirements

Minimum of either a Accounting qualification / CA(SA) / Tax qualification
Minimum of 5 years' experience either in the tax consulting space or recently qualified CA(SA) with keen interest in a career within tax
Excellent relationship building skills and ability to collaborate with others
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Driven, professional and delivery focussed
Strategic thinker, highly numerate and passionate about a career within a tax specialist role.
