Our client, a diverse Wine Farm in Stellenbosch area is seeking to employ a

Senior Service Manager for all their venues

This person will be responsible for the operation and supervision of the retail, food & beverage experience. Plans and directs the day-to-day operations. Develop strategies to improve customer service, drive Retail, Food and Beverage sales, increase profitability, create policies and programs that will increase sales and grow the existing customer base.

Maximize performance and profitability outlets (by maintaining the highest standards, reducing wastage and misuse of products and maximizing sales by training & leading the team.

Develop business strategies to increase feet and optimize profitability

Ensure all products and displays are merchandised effectively to maximize sales and profitability.

Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service

Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and current customers and other stakeholders

Accountable for ensuring availability of merchandise and services by maintaining inventories

Minimum skills and Knowledge required

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Senior Manager or in a similar position

Expert working knowledge of Word and Excel, Outlook, Micros & Pilot point of sales system

Proven track record in implementing new restaurant concepts

Good understanding of retail and F&B

Strong understanding of food cost and costings

Experience developing profitable promotions

Establish and maintain proper inventories

Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety standards, regulations

Tertiary studies will be an added benefit

Valid Drivers and own transport ( limited public transport in area)

Ability to work Hospitality hours
