Senior Recruitment Consultant (Engineering/Technical)

Our client is a well-established recruitment and HR consultancy with a 30-year track record of excellence has retained us to source a Senior Recruitment Consultant to strengthen their permanent recruitment division, focusing on their traditional business of engineering, technical, and related sectors but with the intention of expanding into other verticals.

The Role

This role is focused on high-quality recruitment delivery, candidate engagement, and talent pipeline development.

You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a consistent, professional, and results-driven service to both candidates and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment Delivery

Manage end-to-end recruitment processes from role briefing to placement
Screen, assess, and shortlist high-quality candidates
Coordinate interviews and manage candidate feedback processes
Ensure timely and professional delivery across multiple assignments

2. Candidate Engagement & Talent Mapping

Build and maintain strong candidate networks within engineering and technical sectors
Conduct proactive talent mapping to support ongoing and future hiring needs
Maintain a consistent and professional candidate experience

3. Market Intelligence

Develop insight into sector trends, talent availability, and salary benchmarks
Provide input into candidate positioning and market dynamics

4. Team Contribution

Collaborate effectively within a high-performance team environment
Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement

Requirements

3–5 years’ experience in recruitment (agency or in-house)
Proven ability to manage full recruitment lifecycle
Strong sourcing capability across LinkedIn, job portals, and networks
Experience within engineering, technical, or related sectors advantageous
Relevant tertiary qualification beneficial
