POSITION INFO:

A leading private healthcare facility in Oudtshoorn is seeking an experienced Senior Professional Nurse – Midwifery to join its maternity team.

Requirements:

• Registered with SANC as a Professional Nurse and Midwife.
• Relevant nursing qualification.
• Previous experience in a maternity/labour ward environment.
• Leadership or supervisory experience will be advantageous.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality midwifery and nursing care throughout the maternity journey.
• Provide leadership and support to the maternity nursing team.
• Ensure compliance with SANC regulations, hospital policies, and quality standards.
• Promote patient safety and positive clinical outcomes.
