Senior Professional Nurse – Midwifery

POSITION INFO:

A leading private healthcare facility in Oudtshoorn is seeking an experienced Senior Professional Nurse – Midwifery to join its maternity team.

Requirements:

Registered with SANC as a Professional Nurse and Midwife.
Relevant nursing qualification.
Previous experience in a maternity/labour ward environment.
Leadership or supervisory experience will be advantageous.
Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality midwifery and nursing care throughout the maternity journey.
Provide leadership and support to the maternity nursing team.
Ensure compliance with SANC regulations, hospital policies, and quality standards.
Promote patient safety and positive clinical outcomes.
Supervise, mentor, and support junior nursing staff.
Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
