SUMMARY:
A leading Services Group is seeking an experienced Payroll Coordinator to join its Group Shared Services team.

This role is responsible for the end-to-end coordination of payroll billing reconciliations, third-party payments, statutory compliance and vendor management, ensuring payroll accuracy, audit readiness and legislative compliance across a complex, multi-brand environment.

POSITION INFO:
Skills:

5+ years' payroll administration or payroll coordination experience within a high-volume environment.
Extensive experience with payroll reconciliations, third-party payments and month-end payroll processes.
Strong knowledge of SARS legislation, including EMP201, EMP501, eFiling, File and Tax Directives.
Experience with COIDA, SETA, ETI, IRP5s and statutory payroll compliance.
Exposure to payroll systems such as SAP, PaySpace or similar payroll platforms.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong analytical and reconciliation ability.

Job Description:

Perform end-to-end payroll billing reconciliations and resolve variances.
Manage third-party payments including medical aid, provident fund, garnishees and other payroll deductions.
Prepare and support statutory submissions including EMP201, EMP501, COIDA, SETA and Stats SA reporting.
Liaise with payroll vendors, banks, HR and Finance to resolve payroll and billing queries.
Support internal and external audits by preparing reconciliation packs and audit documentation.
Monitor payroll controls, banking processes and compliance with payroll legislation.
Investigate payroll discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Contribute to continuous process improvement, payroll governance and operational efficiencies.
