SUMMARY:

A leading player in the automotive industry is looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Administrator to join their high-performing finance team.

POSITION INFO:

This is not a junior processing role. This is for a payroll professional who understands legislation, thrives in high-volume environments and can operate confidently with minimal supervision. The business is looking to secure a seasoned payroll specialist who brings stability, accuracy and strong compliance expertise.

If you are detail-driven, process-focused and comfortable managing complex payroll cycles, this opportunity offers scale and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end payroll processing (high-volume environment)
Ensure full compliance with BCEA, SARS and statutory regulations
Process and reconcile PAYE, UIF, SDL and other statutory deductions
Handle payroll reconciliations and month-end reporting
Manage leave, benefits and third-party payments
Resolve payroll queries accurately and timeously
Maintain accurate employee payroll records
Support audits and ensure that payroll compliance controls are met
Assist with payroll process improvements and system optimisation

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Minimum 5+ years’ payroll experience (non-negotiable)
Proven experience in high-volume payroll environments
Strong understanding of payroll legislation and statutory compliance
Experience on a recognised payroll system
Advanced Excel skills
Strong attention to detail and high level of confidentiality
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Professional, assertive and solutions-driven
