JOB DESCRIPTION:

Senior Node.JS Developer

Our client is an international company with several offices around the world. They have decided to establish a team in South Africa that will work remotely. They design and develop high-quality digital products for enterprises and start-ups in industries such as banking, finance, healthcare, media, retail, and compliance. They have successfully built over 150 products for their range of clients. Delivering exceptional user experience is everything to them, and therefore their clients trust their craft and experience in product design, management, and delivery.

What you'll be doing:

Development and support of fintech solutions from specifying requirements to production;
WEB front-end and back-end (Node.js) development;
Project integration with multiple internal/external systems;
Participation in production incidents resolution.

Requirements:

7+ years of experience in commercial software development;
Experience developing REST APIs;
5+ years of experience with NodeJS/Express;
Experience with NoSQL, preferably MongoDB;
Understanding Micro Services and Serverless architectures;
Analytical thinking skills;
Experience with TypeScript;
Git (basic commands, branching, merging);
Upper-intermediate English;
On-Site Job.

It will be useful if you have:

Knowledge of js,HTML;
Knowledge of Angular 4+;
Experience Unit tests;
In-depth knowledge of database design and optimization;
Understanding Docker;
Understanding Kubernetes;
Experience with a bug tracker Atlassian Jira;
Experience with AWS, Swagger would be an advantage;
Experience in the Banking/Fintech industry.
