Remote (South Africa) | Remote | Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM UK hours, including weekend shifts within an agreed rota | R22,000–R27,000 per month + performance-related incentives

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is a Nottingham-based construction and joinery business specialising in internal doors, fire doors, frames, media walls and other home-improvement projects.

Customers receive an indicative estimate before entering the active CRM. The sales process then involves qualifying the enquiry, arranging a site survey, following up on the final quotation and securing the customer’s deposit.

THE ROLE: SENIOR INBOUND SALES REPRESENTATIVE — APPOINTMENT SETTING & CLOSING

This is a sales-focused role responsible for managing warm inbound enquiries from initial contact through to qualified survey booking, quotation follow-up and deposit.

The role requires strong telephone sales, objection handling and closing capability. It is not solely an administrative or appointment-setting position. Success is measured through profitable jobs secured, qualified appointments attended, consistent follow-up and quotation-to-deposit conversion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Respond quickly to new enquiries by telephone and appropriate written channels.
• Confirm customer requirements, location, budget expectations, timescale and decision-making process.
• Book qualified surveys into available slots, considering travel and surveyor capacity.
• Confirm appointments, send reminders and recover cancellations or missed visits.
• Explain the service and value clearly without relying on discounts.
• Follow up outstanding quotations and identify what is preventing customers from making a decision.
• Confidently ask suitable customers to proceed and pay their deposit.
• Handle objections relating to price, timing, competing quotations and uncertainty.
• Refer technical questions, scope changes and pricing exceptions to the director.
• Reactivate suitable older enquiries and quotations.
• Maintain accurate GoHighLevel records, including notes, values, stages, loss reasons and dated next actions.
• Provide a complete handover once a job is secured.

ABOUT YOU

• Ideally 2+ years of relevant sales experience, although demonstrated results are more important than time served.
• Proven track record in telephone-based sales, appointment setting and quotation follow-up.
• Evidence of successfully converting warm inbound enquiries rather than solely making cold calls.
• Experience selling to UK homeowners.
• Construction experience is desirable.
• Home-improvement experience, preferably within windows and doors, kitchens, solar, heating or related services.
• Strong objection-handling, listening and closing skills.
• Clear, professional spoken and written English.
• Experience using GoHighLevel or another CRM to manage an active sales pipeline.
• Strong organisation and ability to work independently.
• Reliable remote-working setup, including a quiet workspace and connectivity contingency.
• Available to work UK hours and weekend shifts within an agreed rota.

PERFORMANCE MEASURES

Initial process targets include a first human contact attempt within five minutes for at least 90% of new leads received during covered hours, at least 95% of scheduled follow-ups completed on time, and at least 95% of new quotations followed up within two working days unless another date has been agreed.

All active opportunities must have an owner, accurate notes and a dated next action. Commercial performance will be measured through accepted-estimate lead-to-survey conversion, qualified survey attendance, quotation-to-deposit conversion, full contract value secured through deposited orders, margin protection, cancellations and customer experience.

Volume and conversion targets will be agreed against actual lead supply, survey capacity and a measured starting baseline. Closing results are shared with the director where the director conducts the survey and presents the quotation. Performance will not be judged on call volume or appointments booked alone.
