SUMMARY:
Senior IT Technician – Randburg

POSITION INFO:

The ideal candidate is an experienced IT professional with an MSP background who can manage a team, implement processes, and guide technical strategy while still being capable of stepping in on escalations and complex projects when needed.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong technical foundation in Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, networking, and security.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong knowledge of MSP operations, RMM/PSA tools, and ITIL frameworks.
Proven ability to manage escalations, client expectations, and complex technical challenges.
Excellent communication skills – able to translate between technical and business stakeholders.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Commercial awareness of MSP profitability and service efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

7–10 years IT experience, with at least 3–5 years in an MSP leadership or senior technical role.
Proven experience leading technical teams and managing service delivery.
Relevant certifications strongly preferred:
Microsoft (Azure Administrator, M365 Enterprise Admin, etc.).
Networking (CCNP or equivalent).
Security (CISSP, Security+, Sophos/ESET certifications).
ITIL Foundation or higher.
Experience in project scoping, delivery, and stakeholder management.
