SUMMARY:
Purpose:
Responsible for the full Human Resource function such as processes, Policies, Procedures, Recruitment and people related activities. Coordination of training and development and assisting the Group HR Manager to ensure compliance with all legislative requirements such as Employment Equity, BBBEE, WSP, etc.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications and or Experience:

Tertiary qualification (degree level) in Human Resources
Minimum of 4 years HR Generalist experience, of which 2 years must be in a senior HR Officer and/or Jnr HR Manager role.
Self-started and thinker
Excellent interpersonal skills. Self-motivated and professionally assertive.
Ability to communicate and manage HR/ IR day-to-day issues within the warehouse and Branches.
Union interaction

Computer Literacy:
Advanced Office / Excel / Powerpoint/ SAGE 300 would be an added advantage.

Experience:

Previous Experience includes but is not limited to the following:

IR Management
Experience and or understanding of payroll process.
Experience and understanding of Bargaining Council structure and agreements.
Management of Training and Development programs and initiatives
Drafting of policies, procedures and processes
Report writing
Union/ staff representative liaison
Employment Equity Committee meetings
Drafting of Employment Equity goals and targets
Recruitment and selection
Formulation of Job profiles with KPI’s
Willing to travel
