Senior Financial Accountant (Future Financial Manager) | Pretoria East

We’re partnering with a fast-growing, high-impact technology business based in Pretoria East, an environment where things move quickly, decisions matter, and finance is a key driver of the business, not just a back-office function.
This is not your typical “keep the books ticking” role. This is for someone who owns the full financial function and is ready to step into a Financial Manager position in the near future.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable
• Full month-end and year-end processes
• Handling VAT, PAYE, tax, and SARS compliance
• Driving financial controls and reporting
• Managing cash flow and operational finance
• Working closely with leadership to support business decisions
• Identifying areas for process improvement and automation

What we need from you

• BCom Accounting / Honours or similar qualification
• Proven track record of running the full financial function independently
• Strong working knowledge of SARS, tax, VAT, PAYE, and compliance
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Xero
  • Cin7
  • Accounting automation tools
• Strong business acumen, someone who understands how finance impacts growth
• A proactive mindset: you see what needs to be done and you get it done
• Confident communicator, able to engage across the business
• Independent, accountable, and solutions-driven
• Commercially aware, you think beyond the numbers
• Ambitious and ready to step up into a Financial Manager role
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Location & Setup

• Based in Pretoria East (100% office-based)
• Ideal for candidates in Centurion, Midrand, or Pretoria East
• Open to candidates willing to commute
