SUMMARY:
Opportunity Available!! Our leading client in the Clothing Retail Sector is looking to employ a Senior Finance Clerk to join their dynamic team in East London.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description:

Complete cash overs/unders and related queries.
Refunds to customers as and when required.
Ensure control sheet is updated (customer refund related).
Daily sales summary prep for reporting
Daily speedpoint banking.
Ensure speedpoint merchant numbers are updated.
Process store deposits into Excel.
After month-end run, complete and check cash overs/unders, including RCS, speedpoint and Cards
Process speedpoint overs/unders journal.
Cash overs/unders journal and clearing 601 account.
Cash overs/unders check 1001 account.
Cash floats and Petty cash.
Bank Charges – check and process per store.
Fidelity – Daily Deposits.
Fidelity – Record and monitor collections and update missed collections.
Debit order listing
Maintaining fixed asset register and prepare depreciation journal
As and when required:

o Review rental recons
o Review sundry payments
o Provisions
o Daily Cash Flow
o Fidelity Queries
o Monthly Vat Recons
o Balance Sheet Recons
o Bank Recons x 5
o Journals: Stock & Sales; Interest; unpaid sweeping; speedpoint and re-allocations

Housekeeping:

Maintain cleanliness in office.

General:

Finance tasks allocated by the Accountant or Finance Manager.
Assist auditors (internal / external) with required information/documentation.

Job Requirements:

Bookkeeping / Finance related qualification (advantageous)
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Similar role
Pastel / Evolution
Advanced Excel
