Senior Document Controller – EPCM Projects

We are recruiting an experienced Document Controller for a leading EPCM environment supporting large engineering and construction projects across mining, petrochemical, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.
This role is ideal for a technically strong Document Controller with experience managing engineering documentation, EDMS systems, vendor documentation, transmittals, turnover packs, and project close-out documentation within fast-paced project environments.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain project documentation within EDMS platforms (Aconex, SharePoint, SAP or similar)
Control drawing revisions, transmittals, vendor documentation, and document registers
Coordinate technical documentation across engineering and construction teams
Compile final handover and as-built documentation packs
Ensure documentation compliance with project and quality requirements
Track outstanding documentation and support project reporting
Support project teams throughout the full project lifecycle

Minimum Requirements

3+ years’ experience in document control within EPCM, engineering, construction, mining, or industrial projects
Strong EDMS experience (Aconex, SharePoint, SAP DMS or similar)
Experience with turnover packs, MDRs, as-built documentation, and transmittals
Strong MS Office skills
Excellent organisational and communication abilities

Advantageous

Mining, petrochemical, refinery, SMPP, or infrastructure project exposure
ISO 9001 knowledge
NEC/FIDIC contract exposure
Lead/supervisory document control experience
