SUMMARY:
A well-established and growing company has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Diesel Mechanic / Foreman to join its team.

POSITION INFO:

• National Senior Certificate or equivalent to NQF 4
• Trade Certificate as a Diesel Mechanic
• 5 Years post-trade experience as a Diesel Mechanic 
• Experience in managing and supervision of a team
• Experience in maintaining forklifts, tractors and trucks (preferrable MAN Trucks)
• Code 14 driver''s license would be advantagous
• Must be Afrikaans speaking

Duties and responsbilities:

• General overseeing of workshop by ensuring assignment of tasks according to required deadlines 
• Ensure Mechanics complete tasks efficiently
• Ensure job cars are completed and submitted according to deadlines
• Conduct daily breakdown repairs on light and heavy equipment
• Conduct scheduled routine preventative maintenance and services on light and heavy equipment
