Senior Creditors Clerk, PMB (KZN), R20 000 NEG.

POSITION INFO:

A well-established manufacturing concern is looking for a deadline-driven Senior Creditors Clerk with 5 to 10 years’ experience handling high volumes of invoices with accuracy. Applicants must have a sound knowledge of MS Excel and Syspro 7, the ability to work under pressure, communicate well and supervise a team. Duties include monthly reporting and closing, creating and forwarding approved purchase orders to department heads, submitting invoices to management for authorisation, verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording Accounts Payable data, maintaining financial historical records, verifying supplier information, resolving queries, GRN’s, credit notes, adjustments, posting system checks and EFT payment runs on Syspro, monitoring discount opportunities, reconciling monthly statements and related transactions, submitting monthly reconciliations to management and completing credit applications.
