Senior Creditors Clerk

SUMMARY:
Our client, an international concern, seeks a Senior Creditors Clerk to start as soon as possible.

POSITION INFO:

Purpose of the Job:

• Manage vendor accounts, with emphasis on reconciliations, payments and queries.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Matric (with Accounting).
• Degree or Diploma in Finance/Accounting (Bookkeeping).
• Minimum 3 years’ creditors and accounting/reconciliation experience.
• Computer literacy (MS Office; SAP experience a strong advantage).

Key Performance Areas:

• Prepare documents for data capture.
• Allocate expenses to general ledger/cost centre codes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Reconcile accounts payable.
• Collate creditors documents and prepare payments.
• Respond to, analyse and resolve supplier and other stakeholder queries & complaints.
• Communicate information to suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Any other adhoc duties as required by Management.
