Job & Company Description
My client, an international heavy Manufacturing company based in Gauteng has been operating for over 8 decades with over 4 branches within South Africa and cross border, is looking for an experienced Senior Buyer to join in their fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the deliverables of the role include processing orders on the Maximo system based on purchase requisitions received from the business, developing and implementing sourcing strategies and supply contracts for commodity spend as well as ensuring best value for money in conjunction with the achievement of BBBEE objectives.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Degree in Supply Chain Management/Procurement or Purchasing
8 – 10 years of procurement or purchasing experience within the Manufacturing space
Must have supplier management and commodity buying experience
Must be proficient in SAP
