Job Position: Senior Bookkeeper (near Bluewater Bay area)

Location: Port Elizabeth
Salary: R15 000 to R20 000 per month commensurate with experience and qualification

Permanent position with 3 months probation  

Well established and reputable concern, urgently seeks to employ a candidate as follows:

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Must be available to commence immediately
• Good work ethics and ability to cope well under pressure
• Ability to meet deadlines and high accuracy
• Knowledge and experience with Quickbooks, Palladium and Excel
• Suitable candidate needs to have experience in the following:

-      Managing group entities books from start to trial balance level

-      Reconciling debtors and creditors

-      Bank and petty cash processing, including reconciling of banks

-      Updating fixed asset register

-      Capture and reconcile the credit cards

-      General journals for the companies

-      Process monthly EMP 201 and submit to SARS

-      Process monthly VAT and submit to SARS

-      Attend to SARS queries when necessary

-      Complete Annual Returns

-      Prepare monthly reports and compile month end file
