Our client, a well-established player in the retail industry, is looking for a strong finance professional to oversee critical accounting functions and support operational excellence at their Graaff-Reinet operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide guidance and direction to the finance team, ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to deadlines.
Maintain and manage the full fixed asset register, ensuring correct capitalisation, depreciation, and reconciliations.
Oversee the AP function, ensuring invoice accuracy, vendor management, timely payments, and compliance with company policies.
Manage daily cashbook processing, bank reconciliations, and cash flow oversight.
Assist in preparing accurate month-end accounts, journals, reconciliations and financial schedules.

Job Experience and Skills Required:).

Completed BCom degree (essential)
Minimum 3 years’ working experience, including exposure to financial management or supervisory responsibilities
