SUMMARY

MAYFAIR GEARBOX Group has an opportunity in one of their branches for 02 vigilant, active, trustworthy male pensioner for a Security Officer position who will be tasked with protecting assets, property, staff and visitors by creating a safe and secure environment, through identifying signs of criminal activities or disorder and investigating disturbances while adhering to legislation relevant to the industry and best practice.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Access control for both staff members and visitors
• Random patrols of the premises on a regular basis to ensure optimal visibility and reduce risks.
• Investigate and report signs of damage or unlawful entry as it occurs to management and act accordingly in the best interest of protecting MAYFAIR GERABOX assets.
• Be clearly visible as far as reasonably possible as a deterrent to discourage criminal activities, prevent theft, damages, and other dishonorable acts.

REQUIREMENTS:

QUALIFICATIONS/LICENSE

• Driver’s license code 08
• PSIRA certificate will be advantageous

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• SANDF or related industry experience will be advantageous

GENERAL REQUIREMENT

• Willing to work shifts
• Lives near MAYFAIR GEARBOX branches
