School Secretary

SUMMARY:
Our client based in the Northern Suburbs is seeking a professional and highly organised School Secretary to join their team.

Role overview:
This role requires an individual with excellent social skills to create a welcoming environment for Staff, Parents and Visitors. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative capabilities, be proficient in managing WCED systems (including CEMIS and PMPS) and demonstrate excellent computer skills. Additionally, they will provide direct support to the Principal with diary management and other administrative tasks.

POSITION INFO:
RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Serve as the first point of contact for Parents, Visitors and Staff; ensuring a warm and professional atmosphere.
• Assist the Principal with diary management, scheduling and general administrative support. 
• Manage school administrative processes, including WCED systems, such as CEMIS and PMPS. 
• Efficiently handle correspondence, record-keeping and document preparation. 
• Support Staff and Management with general administrative tasks. 
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold the school’s professional standards.

• Matric is essential
• Proven experience in a similar administrative or school secretary role.
• Strong computer proficiency; including Microsoft Office Suite and WCED systems (CEMIS, PMPS).
• High level of organisational skills, with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. 
• Excellent social and interpersonal skills to engage with Students, Staff, and Visitors in a professional and friendly manner. 
• Ability to work independently and multitask in a dynamic school environment.
