Sandblaster

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate sandblasting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Clean and prepare surfaces by removing rust, old paint, dirt, grease, and other materials.
• Ensure surfaces are properly prepared for painting, coating, or sealing.
• Inspect surfaces before and after blasting to ensure required standards are met.
• Mix and load abrasive materials into blasting equipment.
• Maintain blasting equipment and report defects or maintenance needs.
• Follow site safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Ensure proper containment and disposal of blasting materials and debris.
• Work with painters, welders, and supervisors to meet project timelines.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.

• Grade 12
• Must have a valid certificate for sand blaster
• 2 -3 years previous experience in sandblasting or surface preparation in construction or industrial environment 
• 6 Months contract 
• R70 Per Hour
• Available immediately
