SUMMARY:
Sales Specialist, R5,500 basic plus uncapped commission

POSITION INFO:

We’re seeking a passionate and self-motivated SALES SPECIALISTS to join our awesome sales team to help us drive our business success by  increasing sales. Your main goal will be to turn leads and prospects into paid users by selling the products that our clients (and their customers) have  grown to rely on. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SALES SPECIALIST… 

• Make sales - Look for opportunities to identify prospects and leads 

• Support and consult with the sales team to ensure efficiency and promote customer experience 

• Make appointments to meet clients and ensure customer satisfaction 

• Understand our clients’ needs, wants and resolve queries 

•  Advise customers on specials, new products, price changes  

•  Learn technical details about our products to explain alternative uses and applications 

• Process orders and follow through 

• Keep merchandising material up to date 

• Prepare and present weekly reports  

• Attend sales educational training, events and expos 

• Stay up to date with the latest sales trends and best practices  

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

• Experience working in a sales environment 

• Woodworking Trade/Power Tool industry experience  

• Power tool & accessory product knowledge essential  

• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills 

• Persuasive & influential yet have the ability to build trusting  relationships  

• Good time-management skills - effectively

•  plan your day and  prioritize your duties 

• Great interpersonal and communication skills 

• Know how to effectively resolve conflict situations  

• Presentation skills 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• A Matric Certificate (Grade 12) 

• A tertiary qualification in Sales and/or Marketing or studying  towards one will be an advantage 

• Computer skills: Microsoft Office knowledge, advanced Excel skills 

• K8 (Kerridge) software  

• A valid driver’s license with no infringements or outstanding fines
