A growing technology company specialising in business optimisation, software solutions, Business Intelligence and AI is looking for a driven Sales Representative with SaaS or software sales experience to join its team. The company offers an innovative SaaS platform aimed at SMEs that brings information from multiple business systems into one centralised view. The successful candidate will focus predominantly on new business development, identifying prospective SME customers, understanding their business challenges and demonstrating how the platform can simplify their operations.

DUTIES:

•       Generate new business opportunities through cold calling and proactive outbound prospecting.

•       Identify and engage prospective SME customers.

•       Understand clients' existing systems, processes and operational pain points.

•       Demonstrate how the SaaS platform can simplify workflows and provide greater visibility across their business.

•       Conduct software demonstrations for prospective clients.

•       Clearly communicate the features, benefits and business value of the platform.

•       Manage opportunities from initial engagement through to closing the sale.

•       Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.

•       Attend face to face client meetings when required.

•       Build strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.

•       Develop a good understanding of the platform, its integrations and the broader technology solutions offered by the business.

•       Work closely with the technical and data teams when additional product or integration expertise is required.

•       Potentially assist with customer onboarding as the role develops.

REQUIREMENTS:

•       Previous B2B sales experience, ideally within SaaS, software or technology solutions.

•       Experience with proactive new business development and cold calling.

•       Good understanding of software and how technology can improve business processes.

•       Ability to identify a client's pain points and translate software functionality into clear business benefits.

•       Confident presenting and conducting product demonstrations.

•       Exposure to CRM, ERP, accounting software, POS, inventory management, Business Intelligence, workflow automation or other business software would be advantageous.

•       Candidates who have previously worked within an administrative or operational environment and have firsthand experience of the challenges associated with working across multiple disconnected systems may also be particularly well suited to the role.
