Sales Representative - Office Automation

SUMMARY:
The Sales Representative is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and driving sales of office automation solutions, including printers, copiers, document management systems, managed print services, connectivity solutions, and related software. The role requires a proactive sales professional who can understand customer needs, present tailored solutions, negotiate contracts, and consistently achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and prospecting.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Conduct client needs analyses and recommend suitable office automation solutions.
• Prepare and present professional quotations and sales proposals.
• Negotiate pricing and service agreements within company guidelines.
• Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and update CRM systems regularly.
• Follow up on quotations and convert opportunities into sales.
• Work closely with the technical and installation teams to ensure smooth implementation.

• Prepare weekly and monthly sales activity reports.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) is essential.
• Sales or Business qualification is advantageous.

• Minimum 2–3 years' external sales experience.
• Previous experience in the Office Automation, ICT, Telecommunications, or Managed Print Services industry is highly advantageous.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
