Sales Representative - Meat Traders

SUMMARY:
Meat Traders Abattoir, a family-run wholesale meat business based in Queenstown, is looking for an experienced Sales Representative to drive growth. You will be responsible for selling our beef, sheep and pork products, building strong customer relationships, and identifying new retail and wholesale opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Growing sales and market share through store visits, calls and presentations.
• Maintaining accurate stock control and minimising shrinkage.
• Managing basic cash control and promoting strong in-store product presentation.
• Sourcing new customers and opportunities for future store locations.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• A relevant Business/Marketing diploma.
• At least 5 years’ experience in retail or running retail stores, with solid knowledge of the meat and/or dairy market.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, fluent in English (Xhosa an advantage).
• Organised, target-driven and comfortable working independently on the road.
