You will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, providing needs-based insurance advice, and delivering exceptional client service while ensuring full compliance with FAIS regulations and Treating Customers Fairly principles.


Key Responsibilities

• Drive new business acquisition and achieve commercial insurance sales targets.
• Conduct client needs analyses and recommend suitable commercial insurance solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business clients to ensure retention and portfolio growth.
• Collaborate with internal banking stakeholders to identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Ensure all client engagements and recommendations are compliant with FAIS and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records, sales pipelines, and client documentation.

• RE5 Qualification (Non-Negotiable)
• Relevant qualification in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, Business, or a related field will be advantageous.

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Commercial Short-Term Insurance Sales.
• Previous experience within a banking, financial services, or bancassurance environment.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, including property, liability, business interruption, and asset cover.

• Sound knowledge of FAIS legislation and Fit & Proper requirements.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Client-centric approach with strong advisory capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
