R 10 000 to R 14 000 plus commission + fuel allowance + cell allowance

Job Purpose:

External Sales Representative required to be responsible for both managing current client base and expanding customer portfolio. Ideal candidate will be from the automotive or related industry.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or higher
• Minimum of  years’ external sales experience
• Automotive or related industry an advantage
• Fully Bilingual (English and Afrikaans)
• Drivers’ license with own vehicle

Responsibilities:

Calling on Existing Customers

• Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers

• Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily

• Build and maintain relationships with Existing customers

• Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts

• Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally

Finding and calling on New Customers

• Identifying and researching new customers in the allocated area.

• Making contact and establishing a relationship and overseeing the initial quotation of prices to new customers

• Sell the company’s products or services to customers within your given territory

• Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs

• Work closely with marketing department to help build the brand

Procedures

• Attend monthly customer review meeting with Sales & Marketing manager

• Attend weekly marketing meetings

• Do follow- ups on all large enquiries from allocated customers.
