SUMMARY:
Our client in the FMCG Food Industry is currently looking for an energetic and driven Sales Representative.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position: Sales Rep

Location: Empangeni

Minimum Qualification Criteria:

NQF level 4/5/6 or Matric
Diploma or Certificate in Marketing would be advantageous
Valid Driver License and Own Vehicle essential
2-3 years’ experience working in FMCG sales environment.
2-3 years' experience in selling FMCG product for cash to customers.
2-3 years' experience in selling FMCG product in the retail sector.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Keeps contact with key retail and cash customers in the area.
Manage client retention and deliver new business.
Develop strong business relationships with store management to provide service and value beyond the customer’s expectations.
Effective and timeous presentation of deal sheets to buyers.
Act as the link between Customer Manager’s and customer store management
Develop and maintain a complete knowledge of the products within the company portfolio, sales systems and procedures.
Take stock
Work with customers to ensure sufficient product is ordered to support consumer take away.
Communicate plans and effectively manage merchandising resources to build sales volume at client level.
Gather intelligence and report on customer preferences, competitive activity & pricing.

General

May be required to work over weekends and public holidays
Expected to work overtime as required
