SUMMARY:
Cape Town. Opportunity exists for motivated, driven Sales Representative with at least 2 years sales experience (industry experience advantage) to service veterinary practices, vet shops and pet shops.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Sell a large portfolio of products to an existing customer base, as well as look for new business opportunities
Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing / potential customers to meet their needs
Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
Growth value of company product portfolio
Ensure sales targets are met in line with company strategy and marketing plans within assigned geographical areas
Participate in training and on boarding of new team members as well as self- development and organizational development

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years’ sales / industry related work experience (industry experience advantage)
Must be fluent in Afrikaans (areas will include Pretoria, Centurion, Limpopo, and Free State)
Must be willing to travel nationally
Excellent selling and negotiating skills
Good physical health / able to sit or stand for long periods of time
Flexible approach to working hours
