SUMMARY:
Durban. Opportunity exists for self-motivated and driven Sales Rep with a bubbly personality and at least 2 - 5 years sales experience (preferably in the fuel industry, but not necessary), and solid experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies to join established company within the Petroleum industry.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Actively take responsibility for prospecting and generating new commercial business within South Africa and cross-border, cold calling to generate new sales, as well as maintaining and servicing existing clients. Understanding the buying patterns of customers to maximise purchases is critical in this position.

Update Customer Relationship Management (CRM) with accurate and timely information on a weekly basis and perform other administrative functions to complete the sales cycle including forecasting, reporting, customer database maintenance, correspondence, and communications.

Monitor competition by effectively gathering marketplace information on pricing, products, marketing techniques, etc.

Requirements:

Valid driver’s licence and own car
Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
Excellent written and verbal skills in business
Proficient skills in Microsoft Office
Available for regular travel (both air and car travel) when deemed necessary
