SUMMARY:
A market leading company in pneumatics, Robotics and Energy efficiency based in Durban is looking for a Highly energetic, self-driven, independent, self-motivated Sales Engineer with excellent leadership and communication skills and the exceptional ability to meet deadlines

POSITION INFO:

Objective:

Increase Sales, Developing and maintaining customer relationships for Pneumatic, Electrical and motion control products

Requirements:

Higher certificate or diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics engineering or equivalent.
Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Mechatronic engineering would be advantageous
Minimum 1 years working experience with either pneumatics/mechanical/electrical field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to build long term relationships with customers.
Persuasive and ability to do product presentations.
Problem solving and reasoning skills.
Valid SA drivers licence.

Duties include but not Limited to:

With the assistance of the regional sales manager, action plan the sales area in accordance with the company’s sales policies and the sales engineer’s personal sales targets
Ensure service expectations of maintenance accounts are met, sales revenue and profitability are maximised, and the contact network is optimized.
Identify, qualify and develop new business, and that development accounts are pursued to increase sales
Compiling sales reports and using them to take corrective action when necessary

Salary: R-----.00pa negotiable depending on experience
