SUMMARY:
A renowned supplier to the Mining industry would like to employ an experienced Sales Representative/ Sales Manager to assist in the growth and retention of customers in our West Africa and Mozambique Region

POSITION INFO:

A renowned supplier to the Mining industry would like to employ an experienced Sales Representative/ Sales Manager to assist in the growth and retention of customers in our West Africa and Mozambique Region. You will be accountable for managing key customer accounts, as well as planning and implementing growth focused initiative to maximise sales and customer satisfaction. This is a new position and the head office is based in Centurion.

Minimum requirements:

Grade 12
Valid drivers’ licence
Able and willing to travel in Africa on a regular basis
5+ years’ experience in technical sales, and the mining Industry
Experience on Conveyor systems is a necessity
Speaking French would be beneficial.
Experience and product knowledge and technical understanding of conveying systems and mining equipment
Lead generation
Good verbal and communication skills

Duties:

Marketing and selling of company products
Build and sustain client relationships
Contact and secure new business accounts and clients
Survey and inspection reports as well as written proposals
Management and appointment of regional sales reps, installation teams or contractors
Local and international trade show attendance assisting in marketing
Update company database with current and potential clients
Regular travel over Africa for two to three weeks at a time
Developing project and tender opportunities.

Salary: R 23000 and R27000 depending on experience and Commission between 0.5% and 1.5%
