SUMMARY:

Our client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join its growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving sales growth by promoting innovative transportation technology solutions to businesses across various industries.
The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator with a consultative sales approach, a proven ability to generate new business, and a passion for delivering value-driven solutions.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities.
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
Conduct client meetings, product presentations, and solution demonstrations.
Understand customer needs and recommend tailored transportation solutions.
Manage the full sales process from initial engagement through to contract closure.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Maintain accurate sales records and activity reports using CRM systems.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.
Collaborate with operational and implementation teams to ensure successful client onboarding and service delivery.
Represent the business at networking events, conferences, and industry exhibitions.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric.
Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field would be advantageous.
Minimum 3 years' experience in a business development or external sales role.
Experience selling technology, SaaS, transport, logistics, fleet management, or business solutions will be advantageous.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.
Willingness to travel as required.
